No offense, but isn't it about time for the Catholic Church to put up or shut up?
(6 comments) Jesus Christ acknowledged and dealt with social evil and left teachings filled with love and compassion, so where has the Catholic Church been hiding for the last 6 years? It's one thing for a religion to tread softly with social issues, but it's another to effectively TOTALLY turn the other way in the face of monstrous social/political evil, i.e., the Bush/ Republican Heart of Darkness. Is anybody home in Rome?

A futures trader would invest billions on the liberal/progressive "trend"
Trends in business are taken seriously and so should trends in politics. Hence the overwhelmingly positive (and consistent) trend to liberal/progressive values and policies revealed in the polls and internet sites is the true measure of the oncoming future.
