Tell A Friend

“Come senators, congressmenPlease heed the call

Don’t stand in the doorway

Don’t block up the hall

For he who gets hurt

Will be he who has stalled

There’s a battle outside

And it’s ragin’

It’ll soon shake your windows

And rattle your walls

For the times they are a changin’.” – Bob Dylan, 1963

That’s right, folks, nineteen hundred and sixty-three.  I was thirteen years old and I was told that the big bad communists in North Vietnam just shot at one of our destroyers.  I was told that, if we didn’t fight back, the North Vietnamese were going to take over Democratic South Vietnam and then Laos, Cambodia, Burma, The Philippines and even New Zealand and Australia would fall!

After misleading the American people about the phantom attack on the American destroyer Maddox in The Gulf of Tonkin, Lyndon Johnson went so far as to proclaim, “If we quit Vietnam, tomorrow we'll be fighting in Hawaii and next week we'll have to fight in San Francisco.”

My god, people, what in the hell does this sound like to you!  Does this not reek of “if we don’t fight them over there, we’ll have to fight them over here.”?

What I wasn’t told when I was thirteen was that the very same commander who reported being attacked by the North Vietnamese in The Gulf Of Tonkin on August 4, 1964, Captain John Herrick, retracted his original report after further investigation.

However, Lyndon Johnson, getting all he needed with the first, erroneous report, ignored Herrick’s correction and the rest, as they say, is one goddamned sad history.

You are completely wrong in almost everything you say.  Vietnam was a pivotal war of attrition between communist dictatorships and freedom as we enjoy it.  Because of Vietnam there was no ww3 between the west and the communist death march.  Had the chicken shit leftist (wanta be communists) and democrats not de-funded the war prematurely due to there complete lack of principals, morals and conviction.  Hundreds of millions of people would not have died many at sea trying to escape the hell rot on them by your piss ant understanding of world political reality.  And now the geniuses of stupidity are at it again with your anti-war crap.  Once again you don’t get it.  Apparently group think is a failed ideology.  However if you are successful in your head in a hole ideas of the nature of man.  I will be the one laughing my ass off as radical Islam Kills all that you hold dear.

Kill all gays

Kill all seculars

Kill all of other religions

Kill all atheists

Kill all women not in burkas

Kill all teachers of girls

Kill all educated women

Kill all men that won’t ware a beard.

Kill all that don’t bow down to Islam.

No women’s rights.  No women in the view of men. No law but shar law.

So go ahead and run from reality, run forest run.   No I mean it run, run and hide when your adolescent play time backfires on us all.

Slug it out, guys.

The elites that plan and execute our societies and wars love it when the toothless (Bonnanno) and the mindless ("war") slug it out, bleating loudly while they do it. They should both be closely examining all the implications behind Emma Goldman's statement, "If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal."

stop war

Dear Michael Bonanno,

I voted Democrat for Congress, Libertarian/Green for Senate Nov. 7. I am disappointed the Democrats have done nothing.
I am a Rightest. You are right that the private sector is not taking care of society's needs. Alan Keyes says that we have a responsibility to serve our fellow man, and if we do not fulfill our private duty it will be done publicly.
Conservatives are beginning to realize the Republican Party no longer serves the country. The fastest growing party is the Constitution Party. The dark horse in the Right is Ron Paul, who is a Republican in name only. He is opposed to the illegal wars.
We can work together to end the madness of President Bush. Lefists can support the Green Party - if Al Gore had not committed the unpardonable sin of running against Ralph Nader and ran with him he would be president. Rightests can support the Constitution Party. Centrists can support the Libertarian Party.
Is it unfortunate that Al Gore lost the presidency. What is truly tragic is that Americans have realized the truth about Joe Lieberman - he is actually campaigning for Republicans!
