Congress is the only mechanism we have to fill this vacuum in command judgment .. The challenge we face today, is not how to win in Iraq; it is how to recover from a strategic mistake ~ invading Iraq in the first place : former NSA director Gen. William E. Odom (U.S. Army retired) And there you have it, the generals and commanders are tired of being used as the excuse for Bush's refusal to face the reality of his Iraq fiasco. General Odom says Bush has gone AWOL ~ which is typical for this moral coward who went AWOL his last year in the Air Force reserve for two reasons ~ he couldn't handle the flying and he knew he wouldn't be able to pass a drug test. Thus, I do not speak for the Democratic Party. I speak for myself, as a non-partisan retired military officer who is a former Director of the National Security Agency. I do so because Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, asked me. "In principle, I do not favor Congressional involvement in the execution of U.S. foreign and military policy. I have seen its perverse effects in many cases. The conflict in Iraq is different. Over the past couple of years, the President has let it proceed on automatic pilot, making no corrections in the face of accumulating evidence that his strategy is failing and cannot be rescued. "Thus, he lets the United States fly further and further into trouble, squandering its influence, money, and blood, facilitating the gains of our enemies. Rather, he engages in tit-for-tat games. "Some in Congress on both sides of the aisle have responded with their own tits-for-tats. These kinds of games, however, are no longer helpful, much less amusing. They merely reflect the absence of effective leadership in a crisis. And we are in a crisis. "Most Americans suspect that something is fundamentally wrong with the President's management of the conflict in Iraq. And they are right. We are seeing the worse of the worse, the end game of a 400 year war, where just about every high-ranking position in business, education and religion has been filled with a psychopath. REPLY TO EDUCATE We cannot kill this Dragon. We must simply stop feeding it. Then it will retreat to its lair and hibernate until another unwitting generation comes along. I like that, for indeed it is a dragon which must be starved to death. The first step is to stop funding this Middle East travesty ~ The second step is change our priorities from operating out of fear to being in service to mankind ~ which leads to the third step ~ electing a President who reflects those values . DUBYA isn't AWOL... ...he's HWOB (Here WithOut Brain(or Balls, if you will)). It's obvious that his brain is nowhere to be seen. You can't see it when he "acts". You can't hear it when he speaks. He has no brain at all. He, like his pet war, is on automatic pilot. If you look behind him, you will see the hole where either Dick(LESS) Cheney or Hot Karl stick their hand to make him talk. Not unlike the ventriloquist dummy, there is nothing in the dummy that is DUBYA other than the burned out, coked out shell of an intellectual imbecile. I think it's hilarious how the tide has turned against DUBYA. Even as CNN and the rest of the media cheerleaders for DUBYA spew spin spuriously, the tissue of lies that held the DUBYA administration together is tearing, shredding, and falling to pieces in the wind of truth that is blowing across America. The only question is how long will this wind of truth continue to blow. Now that generals critical of DUBYA's Iraq fuck-up are coming out to speak their peace, it is becoming harder for the liars to keep up with the truth. The spin alchemists are finding it increasingly difficult to keep up the pace on their misinformation campaign. The reason for this is, as the so-called gang of eleven have pointed out, DUBYA has no more credibility on the Iraq War. In other words, even the Republicans' supporters, the targets of the spin alchemists, are no longer buying the bullshit. I have a sneaking feeling this is all going to come to a head, and someone with a real set of balls, and a lot of credibility and clout is going to call DUBYA on the carpet publicly, and it is going to be such an embarrassment for DUBYA and his regime, there will be no recovering. RELPY TO PAPPY I have a sneaking feeling this is all going to come to a head, and someone with a real set of balls, and a lot of credibility and clout is going to call DUBYA on the carpet publicly, and it is going to be such an embarrassment for DUBYA and his regime, there will be no recovering. I can't wait to see it happen! The stage is set for that to happen, Pappy ~ but it certainly will not be one of the present crop of Republican Presidential Want-To-Be's . My guess, Al Gore, whose new book, due out any month now ~ and who certainly has the credibility and clout ~ will take both Bush and Cheney to task and set the stage for his eventual decision to run. No Law No Authority It is nice to focus on the lawless band of Fiends in high places these days, yet if we care to look more deeply, we can understand that it did not start with BushFiend and Company. The 1946 decision by our "Master" class, to go ahead with a massive genocidal planetary destroying build up of nuclear weapons, violated humanity and basically "broke the law." Our Fiend class of that time could not help themselves; they saw the opportunity to finally kill the mass of the human race, and they decided to do just that; destroy the mass of the human race with the aid of the newly invented nuclear explosives. We have repeatedly been "nuked" over the years, with no affect, not because the weapons were not available, rather the high level powers have said no to the genocidal extermination of humanity. When "ET" says no, no it is. The decision to go ahead with a massive build up of nuclear weapons, was illegal and a violation of an assortment of laws both of Nations and common law. Our Fiend class makes up it's own laws as it crimes along its way. Fiend Inc. considers that they have the right to exterminate us based upon the "True Law, that is they consider that we are too stupid to figure out that war is a crime against the entire human race not merely the "Selected and Decided upon foe," so that gives them the right to kill us all. It is clear that left to their own designs, our nuclear armed Fiend class would have indeed won out and imposed their "True Law" upon the body of humanity and Fiend exterminated us already, and would have succeeded in our destruction if not for the unmentionable intervention into our world by some still unknown group of Extraterrestrials. After going about among the mass of the ordinary people and seeing so many faces of Angels, it is easy to understand why the "ET" prefer that the human race continue to exist. So it seems that our nuclear war fighting Fiend elite have had their "True Law" revoked by the higher level powers and Fiend Inc. is no more in any lawful business. Having demonstrated that they have no Law, they have also lost their ability to exercise any authority. No Law No Authority. To the Military people who can understand what reality is calling upon us to recognize, prepare yourselves for your next important assignment. The mass arrests of our nuclear war fighting enemy Fiend elite. They recognize no Law other than some genocidal Fiend plot against us. Their time has ended. They have no authority.
