A very good Op-Ed piece indeed, well researched and fair too. Well, Al Qa'ida and Arab Mujahidin are political movements in the garb of Religion just like the Evangelists with their Jesus Camps and the KKK in the not too distant past. What is at stake is so many billions of $$$ per day of Crude Oil and Gas! The Conquistadors of Spain were extensions of the Inquisition. The stake was the Gold of the Incas and the Aztecs. Same as the Afrikaaners in Kruger Land. Same as the Zionists in Palestine and USA who own most of the $$$ making Corporations. They were and still are all Bible carrying, Bible quoting and Bible Toting robbers and exterminators. So also were the slave traders! As far as the Al Qa'ida and Arab Mujahideen are concerned, both were created, nurtured and sustained (even now) by successive US, UK and Israeli ruling Establishments, and are still doing the biddings of their masters. Islam has nothing to do with them just like Jesus had nothing to do with the Inquisition. 95% + of Muslims are fed up with Al Qa'ida but their Govts do not allow them to take care of Al Qa'ida because perhaps the US, British and Israeli Govts do not allow them to. For this very reason the Powers that be in washington DC, London and Brussels are preventing their Mighty Legions from capturing or killing Al Qa'ida's top echelon. Look for the REASONS nearer to your domicile. Al Qa'ida is HIS MASTER"S VOICE. Remember the old phonograms?
